Quick Care Guide for Your New Artwork

Thank you for supporting original art! To help keep your new artwork looking its best, please follow these four simple guidelines:

• Avoid Direct Sunlight: UV light causes permanent, irreversible fading to prints and can crack paint layers over time. Hang your artwork on a wall that receives indirect, ambient room light rather than a direct beam of harsh sunshine.

• The "No Fireplace, No Bathroom" Rule: Never hang a painting or print directly over a working fireplace (heat and soot will degrade it) or inside a bathroom (intense humidity fluctuations cause paper to ripple and canvas to sag).

• Hands Off the Surface: For prints and works on paper, handle them strictly by the very edges—our skin carries natural oils that can permanently smudge paper. For paintings, never press or lean anything against the front or back of the canvas.

• Throw Away the Feather Duster: When a painting gets dusty, do not use water, damp cloths, or feather dusters (the quills catch on paint texture). Use a clean, dry, incredibly soft natural-hair brush (like a large makeup brush) to gently sweep away dust.
